Day 1: Drive To Murchison Falls National Park And En-Route To Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Our safari guide will pick you up from your stay in Kampala after having breakfast at around 7 am. And, then drive 311km northwest to Murchison Falls National Park which is about a 5-6 hours drive.
You will drive through the previous battle zone of the Luwero Triangle going through the fabulous rural landscapes of Uganda. These are covered with a lush green cover, with sparse human settlements, towns, and markets where you will see people going on with their daily routine of activities.
En route 7 km to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary home of Uganda’s only wild Rhinos. Here, you have a chance to track the Rhinos on foot and for sure you will enjoy the looks of this animal.
Rhinos are among the African big 5 animals and tracking them in their natural habitat will give you unforgettable memories. You will track the Rhinos for about 2-hours and then continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
You will arrive in the park in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Enjoy A Morning Game Drive And An Afternoon Nile Launch Cruise To The Bottom Of Murchison Falls
Have breakfast at around 6:30 am and then drive to the northern bank of the park for a 3-4 hours game drive while searching for the big 5. These are Lions, Elephants, Leopards, and Buffaloes.

Sightings of giant Nile Crocodiles and Hippos are guaranteed with many large herds of Elephants showering on the river bank. And many African Buffaloes and Waterbucks.
You will as well see many birds like Shoebills, Cormorants, and Kingfishers, large flocks of African Skimmers, and Red-throated Bee-eaters.
After this amazing 2-hour boat cruise, you can then retire at your lodge and await for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Visit To The Top Of The Falls Or Optional Chimpanzee Trekking In Budongo Forest And Return To Kampala
Have your breakfast at peace at around 7 am and cross to the south of the park and drive to the top of the falls viewpoint. Sightings of Murchison Falls are superb when on a boat cruise but views from the viewing point are extraordinary.
You will take a short footpath leading downhill to the waterfalls and walk towards the fenced point from where you will enjoy the triggering waterfalls.
Here you will see the 50-meter-wide Nile squeezing through a 7-meter gorge escarpment and dropping 45 meters into the devil’s cauldron. You will hear the thunderous roar of the falls and see the voluminous water spray formed.
Indeed, Murchison Falls is the strongest waterfall in the world.
You also have an option of doing Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest. During this activity, you will have the opportunity of seeing the closest relatives to humans with close-up views of their natural habitat.
